CRWorks, Inc. is a non-profit corporation organized in the State of Indiana to provide services to low-income families. We are a leader in creating innovative, community-based services which enhance the quality of life for children, youths, and families and work in partnership with other agencies to create a progressive community. We have been providing services based on a holistic approach in our community since 2002. Our innovative programs offer an integrated continuum of care, which includes housing, education, childcare, transportation, employment, youth and family-centered activities. The Childcare unit caters to the needs of the children by providing a conductive and fun-filled environment geared towards developing their cognitive skills, It also caters to the needs of the working mother by providing day care services thus creating an enabling environment for the mother to succeed at work and at school. The Youth arm of CRWorks provides for the needs of the youths with activities to keep them busy after school hours, right through to summer programs designed to prevent them from drug usage and other teen-related problems. The Adult arm of CRWorks caters to the issues of homelessness and employment. Our organization has continued to face the challenge of working with a subset of the homeless population, some of whom are single parents, with no income or limited income, multiple barriers and many children to care for. These barriers have impeded this group from becoming self-sufficient and subsequently ending up on public assistance again. By providing an array of programs that support educational, vocational, personal and family needs, CRWorks has worked to prevent homelessness by empowering children, youths and families to perform responsibility within their communities.
